He graduated from the Animation Arts program in Seneca @ York University, and soon left for South Korea, to get in touch with his cultural roots. In Seoul, he began teaching English to all ages, worked as a video game concept designer, art teacher, and caricature artist. He later fell into stand-up comedy joining the Stand-Up Seoul (SUS) community and improv comedy with Seoul City Improv (SCI). He also produces music under the name ‘Sugarghos.’ Upon arriving back he has been involved with Second City as an improv performer, recently showcasing his conservatory hit grad show ‘Fake News Till You Make It.’ He’s also acted in television, film, and commercials, where he’s been a part of Kim’s Convenience and commercials for Ford. He dedicates his time as a freelance artist and performing at shows while inspiring others to express themselves as well.
Guest Artist: Kelsey Whyte
Kelsey Whyte, from a town in northern ontario, has found home in Toronto. She is a photography graduate of OCAD U & Sheridan College, and now runs her own wedding photography business. Although photography is her first love she has found a passion for many different mediums along the way. Performance art, in particular, has found its way into Kelsey’s heart as she creates, stars and edits in her own strange productions. This work has been shown in Canada, The U.S and Germany. She now creates animations, videos and fibre arts as she continues her practice. A creative kid herself she began teaching other smaller creative kids crafts, drama and art in her teens. She loves to share knowledge and be inspired by young minds. She is going on her 11th year of teaching art: and loving it.
