SUN – ONLINE Sketch Club for JR Artist (Nov 8th 2020)
This booking is for November 8th ONLINE sketching – FLORAL.
From November onward we will be organizing a weekly event on Sunday from 2pm – 4pm. You will need to book a space to join through our website. Studio space is limited to 5 but online attendance is also welcome. Online we will also allow 5 sketchers. You will need your own sketchbook to work with be it digital or paper book. Adults & Children(8+) Welcome!
This class is different to your regular class. We wont be giving you instruction on what to do. We will have a suggested topic for the week for you to explore but that is up to you. Chat with your friends if you like and come up with your own sketch ideas. The point is to draw; Draw a lot, Sketch a bunch of different things, different angles, different framing, different lighting. This term is all about Myths and the Ancient gods of long lost civilizations.
Students will explore the world if digital art fundamentals under the topic and learn about Values, Shapes, Color, Form, Texture, Composition and Narrative. Weaving these ideas together with the stories from old we will create and paint a variety of digital artworks.
Exploring some figure drawing with marble statues sketching will help improve and develop our talents. In the start we will work together to interpret the concept and develop ideas together learning the creative process and developing our own workflow. After students feel competent with the software the students will develop their own creative content to satisfy their own interests and tastes. This will be a diverse term and we are open to a variety of direction from the students once they have the skillset.
