Week 1 ~ 3D Glow Character

Sculpt some creative glow character from your favourite film or own imagination.
In this summer workshop students will learn the basics of sculpting with blender 3D.

We will work together in a step by step method to create this wonderful glowing Tree character.
Some students may wish to do another character theme like the super cute Japanese girl below. Students can submit requests for their own character ahead of time via email with reference. We will discuss with the students upon the first day of the workshop.

Week 2 ~ Art & Story

Do you have a cute little character you draw everywhere, perhaps a little cat or dog. Would you like to build a whole world and story about this cute little guy.

In this summer workshop students will plan an animation with storyboards and create a simple trailer. Students are encouraged to develop their own character and series that could be further developed in the future should they wish to continue working at home. Perhaps it becomes a web comic or a you tube series.. sky’s the limit with potential…

Or how about it a rock monster who kills it on the drums!

Week 2 ~ Art about Town

Visit locations around the beaches and paint. All you have to do is look at a cool sketch of an urban scene and the urge to try it yourself comes knocking. Once you get comfy with this way of documenting the world around you, you’ll never run out of fascinating subjects to draw.

Your Own iPad is required for this adventure. Parents please also be aware students should be allowed to adventure around town with the teachers and able to follow direction well to ensure their safety.
