TUE – JR Digital Artist 13 – 17yrs (Winter 2019)
This term we will focus on establishing art fundamentals while allowing students to build their skills and confidence with the digital painting tools and workflow. Projects will take 1 – 2 weeks each. After the first 5 weeks students will be encouraged to embark on their own concept artwork. Students will be guided through the research and concept development phases for their final work.
All final works will be exhibited in our end of semester gallery event for parents and community.
NB: There will be an additional cost for the product printing. A full list of items will be made available for parents with associated printing costs.

Students may choose animal anatomy or even manga style artwork derived from human/animal proportional studies.

SUN – 3D Artist 10+ yrs (Winter 2019)
This term we will focus on 3D Sculpting Characters.
Due to the complex nature of 3D software we will only accept students at least 10 yrs of age.
Students will be guided through the program interface learning simple Geometry sufficient for sculpting.
They will learn about texture painting and lighting within the 3D as well as rendering and output. Starting out with simple sculpts. We will build up to rendering more complicated humanoids. Students will render and output a simple animation for their own YouTube animation channel. Parents will be required to authorize children’s use of social media (youtube) to share their work online.

Bring back the traditions of old and make your own holiday decorations.
In this workshop we will draw and design our own digital snowflakes.
After printing the designs we will combine them with beautiful baubles and tie them up on a real tree branch to create this nature inspired window decoration.
Each student can make one hanging decoration. Working together and sharing snowflake designs is encouraged.
Families might like to work together on a larger branch rather than 2 smaller branches.
