Week 8 ~ Video Advertising
In today’s commercial economy, it’s an essential skill to market and sale a product or even yourself.When it comes to advertising, video is a versatile and engaging content format that not only gives us a real-life picture of what is going on; it’s also easy to share across multiple platforms. Audiences like it because it’s easy to digest, entertaining and engaging.
In this camp, we will equip the young generation with video-making skills. Campers will learn to write their own script based on given products, then turn it into a unique promotional video. You can’t miss this workshop if you want to be an entrepreneur, or simply because you enjoy watching commercials.
Week 4 ~ Video Advertising

Week 7 ~ Smartphone Video
Recording video with your smartphone is more complicated than just avoiding Vertical Video Syndrome. In this camp we will start the course with basic, storytelling. Students will then work together to shoot, act and edit their own productions. Students will explore creative filming styles, including time-lapse and stop motion. Editing Apps will be introduced for editing and digital effects.
It’s a great chance to improve teamwork and communication skills.

FRI 17 JAN – PA Day ~ VR Game Environment Design
SUN – 3D Artist 10+ yrs (Winter 2020)
This term in JR3D artist we will be creating humans and monsters inspired by Dungeons & Dragons. Think Demogorgon, Mind Flayer, Wizards, Humans, Elfs.. We will experiment with Human base meshes to build into characters that we can print and use for our real world dungeons and dragons games on Saturdays. We will also be building and printing Characters and miniatures houses for villagers to live in, Ruins and old churches.

This term in Jr Designer we will be exploring the world of surrealist artists and creating designs inspired by famous artists using photo compositing. Think melting clocks and elephants on stilts. The world of creative ‘photo shopping’ or compositing will be a valuable skill for photographers who would like to learn photo manipulation and how to adjust photos to bend them to the will of their imagination.
Students work within Affinity Photo & Affinity Designer for this course.
