3D Stamp & Cookie Cutter ~ Sat 27th April 2-4pm
Create & Design your own 3D printable Stamp or Cookie Cutter. This could be your name, company logo, your family insignia or an eggplant. It’s totally up to you.
This workshop is a cross application workshop. Users will create a 2D vector graphic that can be extruded out to into a stamp or cookie cutter. You’re welcome to bring in a sketch of your own to develop if you like.
The process will start with a sketch in Affinity Designer and and then move to Blender 3D so this will give participants a little sample of each workspace. Learning to use apps together is powerful and great to develop out of the box thinking processes.
Workshop includes 2 hrs instruction and all materials.
One stamp per person will be printed from the JR 3D Filament.

THU – Adult Beginners Photography Class (April 2019)
Our beginner digital photography course is designed to help you make full use of your digital cameras. You will learn camera settings, shutter speeds, apertures, lighting and composition. Photography tricks and basic photo retouch skills will also be covered in this course in order to let you shine on social media. During the course, you’ll complete a series of photo projects that let you utilize your newly developed skills and knowledge.
Your instructor will guide you in this 6 week course, reviewing your photos and helping you improve. One thing for sure, this course will change the way you see the world.
TUE – Video for Business (April 2019)
Everything costs when running your own business, so why pay others to make your promotional video when you can do it yourself? Join us and learn to write your business story, then turn it into a unique video. Did I mention that you can even shoot and edit the video on your phone?
Our class will run for 6 weeks and cover a variety of video styles.
Thu ~ Intro to Animation
In this 6 week workshop, students will look at different animation styles, and choose which style or a combination of some to use for their own. After having all pieces of the animation drawn, students will begin to create the animation frames. Once Animation is completed, student are encouraged to add Sound or Music if recorded.
Mon ~ YouTube Production
In this 6 week class, students will take a look at different Vloggers and YouTubers, and discuss the elements that make engaging videos. Our instructor will work with the students to figure out what they want to share with the world. After developing the concepts, students will begin Pre-Production, Production and last but not least, Post production.
Sat ~ The Art Of Anime
The Art of Anime is a fully digital and interactive class on the style of Japanese anime and manga. Students will be introduced to the various styles of anime, applying fundamentals of anatomy, background designs and comic effects, and more in how to approach the craft with a practical skill set digitally and make their own anime inspired work.
Topics and exercises that will be shared in this course:
- Line quality & Tools
- Face Proportions (Anime vs. Standard)
- Create Fan Art of favorite anime series
- Daily reference drawing
- Daily creative exercise
- Understanding layers
- Coloring and Tone
- Understanding filters and effects
- Variety of anime eyes
- Using photos as anime landscapes.
If there is not a minimum of two students confirmed the guest artist reserves the right to cancel the class. All money will be refunded. Thank you for your understanding.

THU – 3D Artist 10+ yrs (Spring 2019)
This term we will focus on 3D Sculpting for Animation & 3D Printing.
Due to the complex nature of 3D software we will only accept students at least 10 yrs of age.
Students will be guided through the program interface learning simple Geometry sufficient for sculpting.
They will learn about texture painting and lighting within the 3D as well as rendering and output. Starting out with simple sculpts. We will build up to rendering more complicated humanoids. Students will render and output a simple animation for their own YouTube animation channel. Parents will be required to authorize children’s use of social media (youtube) to share their work online.
Students will also have the option to print their work using our Studio 3D Printer
