We all have a hero in us. In this workshop, we will learn some basic motion graphics in DaVinci Resolve 16 to create some Heroic Effects videos. Motion graphics are pieces of animation or digital footage which create the illusion of motion or rotation. We will create a series of projects including Star Wars Lightsaber Effects, Iron Man HUD Effects, Harry Potter Spell Effects and Spiderman Web Shooting Effects.

In this workshop, we will use the Hollywood-grade video editor – DaVinci Resolve 16. It’s also free to download and cross-platform. Students who enroll in this LIVE online workshop will be working on the Fusion feature to create their own visual effects. Check out https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/davinciresolve/ to learn more about the software. We will be using free stock images and video footage, so don’t worry if you don’t have a camera or video recording device.

This class is suitable for any experience level. Students will learn the valuable skills of planning and execution of the digital creatives giving them the valuable insight into the self discipline required to become a successful and skilled artist in today’s world.
