Photography is the art of light. Lighting techniques are among the most fundamental and essential skills in the art of photography. Students will learn how to observe, understand, and apply light and shadow, which is crucial for creating impressive photography. The mentor will guide students in using lighting techniques to capture beauty even with ordinary objects. We will also bring back our iconic Halloween photoshoot and Christmas Lights photography.
Our photography mentor will lead students on a digital photography journey. This online course covers a range of topics, including full manual exposure settings, capturing shots under challenging lighting conditions, and composition techniques. With an emphasis on practical experience and hands-on knowledge, students will have ample opportunities to put their newly acquired skills into practice.
Whether you’re interested in capturing everyday objects or images of high-end fashion products, this course will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed for success.

SAT – JR Video Editor 8+ (INTERMEDIATE) (Spring 2023)
The popularity and practicality of video editing skills has never been higher. In this intermediate level course, it is assumed that participants have a foundational understanding of video editing, including techniques and color correction. This term, students will work with DaVinci Resolve 18 to craft their own unique style in video creation. The course will focus on using the Fusion workspace to explore and create a range of visual effects.
