SUN- JR Photographer 8 – 12 yrs (Spring 2019)

In this 15 week term students will focus on an introduction to digital photography. Students can expect to learn how to make a correct exposure, shoot in challenging lighting situations, make strong compositions. This course will also include some photography hacks. Student will get plenty of hands-on experience and practical photography knowledge.

NB: Parents please note that this course will also include outdoor/nature shooting experience.

 

 

MON – JR Documentarian 14 – 17 yrs (Spring 2019)

Documentaries involve media devices, content, form, and production strategies in order to address the creative, ethical, and conceptual problems and choices in daily life. Due to the complex nature of documentary practice we will only accept students at least 14 years of age.

Student will be guided through the fundamental aspects of documentary filmmaking, including researching skills and camera angles, footage selection as well as editing. Students are encouraged to creates a particular story, viewpoint, message or experience.

Digital Caricature Workshop for Adults (7 weeks)

Objective

This course will help you learn the core concepts of caricature theory and facial anatomy, as well how to expand your creativity with abstract thinking. We focus on effective exercises, to improve your growing skill as an artist, and teach how to create stunning work from rough sketch to a final piece, through a mix of traditional and digital mediums.

Objective

Welcome to a fun environment for kids to learn the fundamental concepts of caricature! Caricature is a great way to engage in social activities with its unique form of communication through drawing as well improve acute observational skills and empathy. Children learn traditional methods first and then how to apply it to digital.
