Logo Design & Custom Clothing

This terms projects will be super fun. Imagine yourself building your own brand. We will start with the basics of the software, learning to make logo designs studying popular brand logos the students choose. Recreating logos is a great way to understand the how and the why. We will use these logos and the new skills we have learned about vector design to then start building our own designs that can be applied to products like clothes, water bottles, shoes, bags, hats and even watches. Students will also gain some experience in composting photos and text into design layouts and working with fonts. Working with our custom creative partner students may wish to make their designs into real products for themselves or gifts for friends and family.

Art and creative media has always been evolving. Street art has moved from something that was a counter culture into something that is now sold in Auction houses across the globe. Banksy has become a household name and evolution of the Murals we see in public have developed a technical level of skill to be admired. This term we will study and produce a variety of different artworks using digital spray cans, stencils, markers among other digital design tools. Students will learn masking, color theory, values, composition and art production skills. During the first part of the program we will focus techniques and skill acquisition before moving on to developing students own creative concepts and artwork.

Banksy has become a household name and evolution of the Murals we see in public have developed a technical level of skill to be admired. This term we will study and produce a variety of different artworks using digital spray cans, stencils, markers among other digital design tools. Students will learn masking, color theory, values, composition and art production skills. In this course students will focus on an introduction to digital photography. Students can expect to learn how to make a correct exposure, shoot in challenging lighting situations, make strong compositions. This course will also include some photography hacks. Student will get plenty of hands-on experience and practical photography knowledge.
This term students will explore Street Photography and Flower Photography. Street photography is an incredibly satisfying way to document the world around you, create new art and to express your vision as an artist. As spring approaches, all you have to do is step into your own garden or visit a public garden to find a world of beautiful flowers to photograph. We will cover topics including composition and styling, camera setting and angles, colours theory, light theory and more.
