Date Night

A Date Night is a typically pre-planned evening when a committed couple carves out some time for themselves away from their children and other responsibilities. Deciding to go get pizza on the spur of the moment lacks the planning and “special” feel of a true Date Night.

Date Night helps with communication. This is an essential element of an intimate relationship. But communication also involves the willingness to remove distractions such as children and career demands deliberately.

Things might be crazy — and budgets might be tight — but there’s still no excuse for not making room for love. Especially when there’s so many creative ways you can enjoy the company of that special someone at Jr Art Lab.

Why not do a plan a little photoshoot together. Learn about your DSLR cameras and dress up to make a magic invitation or special Christmas Card. Meet up with our 3D instructor and plan out how you will design the shed into a creative space for all the family. Making creative things together is where we build the magic memories that we all love to recall.

Together Time

Sometimes our lives get so busy and scheduled that we have to schedule some unscheduled time. That’s just what “together time” is all about. If people spend quality time together, they spend a period of time doing things that they both enjoy, and not worrying about work or other responsibilities. Beyond providing emotional support, spending time with others helps to strengthen our identification in relationships and make us feel connected to the world.

“Together time”  could be with your child, a friend or a parent. At Jr Art Lab together time can is a customized workshop that you and your “other” take together. Making special memories and creating your own digital art project. It could be a painting or sculpture that you have always admired and wanted to paint for yourself. It could be a short video you plan together and execute with assistance from our instructor. There is a Myriad of options we can customize for your “Together Time.”

Me Time

Me time is making a conscious effort to a well earned break. It could be achieved in many ways but at Jr Art Lab ‘me time’ is a creative exercise. Undertake a mindful exercise with yourself and make something meaningful to you. What could that be? It could be a study of a famous artwork you always admired. It could be a photography walk in the ravine with our instructor teaching you about your camera and just what is capable of capturing.

Why is me time so important? whether we believe it or not, our mind and body are connected, and for our mind and body to function in harmony, they need to be in sync. When they aren’t, you may notice changes in both. Personal time allows us to maintain our individual identities, provides opportunities to do things we like to do, and lets us feel like we have some control over our lives. Alone time can actually help to keep a relationship fresh and less stressful.

Everyone has dreams and creative projects are a way to bring a little big of magic into our daily lives. You might just find that this project you make opens up a doorway to your creative soul. It might grow like a beanstalk and lead you to a whole new reality.
